The Signature Wall and its Commemorative Bricks are a permanent reflection of the community’s support for the library. The Signature Wall was designed by John A. Bennett and installed as part of the 1983 Main Library expansion. 

Commemorative Bricks are ceramic tiles printed with a message of your choice on permanent display in the Main branch of the Cincinnati Library. These bricks perfectly honor a special occasion or a loved one while supporting Literacy in our community. 

Each Brick costs $500. Payment can be made by calling the Warehouse during open shopping hours and providing credit card information over the phone or you can mail a check to:

Existing Bricks at Main

Your Commemorative Brick will be a 5.25" by 1.25" ceramic tile printed with your chosen message. The printable area is 4.75" by .75". Text will be scaled to fill the printable area.

A permanent Commemorative Brick at the Main Library costs $500. Payment is required upon approval of the Brick Proof.

Purchaser Name
A Brick Proof will be sent to your email for approval prior to printing.
Text on Bricks must be 75 characters or fewer and will be printed in Times New Roman font.
By default the text will be centered and enlarged to fill a majority of the brick. Please indicate if you would like the text right or left-aligned, certain text larger, etc.
